01

Arrival & Pitch Logic

The early morning hours are the most critical. Aim to arrive as close as possible to 7:00 AM (Saturday) or 6:30 AM (Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday) to catch the first wave of keen buyers and make the most of your selling experience.

02

Effective Merchandising

Presentation makes the sale. Use tables or sheeting, rails for clothing, and keep your pitch organised. Clearly marked prices on major items help reduce friction and encourage quick decisions. For items without marked prices, have an idea of the prices you want but be prepared to bargain.

03

Pricing & Interaction

Haggling is part of the tradition! Bring plenty of loose change as a float and be prepared to negotiate. Friendly interaction and a small discount often turn a browser into a buyer.

04

Departure & Tidiness

Respecting the venue is vital. All sellers are required to pack up any unsold items and take all associated rubbish home. Please leave your pitch as clean as you found it.
